Before you write
A few things we are asked often are already answered in the FAQ — whether the tool is really free, whether we sell data, and how matches are worked out.
We cannot give individual admissions or financial-aid advice, and we are not able to change a college’s reported figures: those come from the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, and corrections have to go through the institution. If a number on our site disagrees with the Scorecard, though, that is our bug and we want to know.
